The Main Ballroom has a capacity of up to 120 persons for a formal sit down banquet and is able to hold up to 400 persons when used in conjunction with the Lounge bar for standard function purposes.

The room measures approximately 48 ft by 53 ft and is used throughout the year for discos, wedding recptions, country dancing and many other events. It is also an ideal venue for a small exhibition - epsecially if used in conjunction with the other functions suites available in the hotel.

The Room is split level with a large dancefloor (approximatley 27 ft by 28 ft) and an elevated section with tables and chairs. The end of the ballroom gives panoramic views over the River Tamar and Devonport Dockyard. There is also a large bar in the ballroom and a small stage.
